Band Bio:
Gillsaw is the brainchild of Bay Area musician Jole Gills, a drummer and sonic experimenter with a lifelong passion for music. His eclectic influences range from industrial pioneers like Ministry and Nine Inch Nails to progressive metal giants like Devin Townsend and Tool, with detours into the experimental realms of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and the cinematic soundscapes of Danny Elfman. Even the ambient textures of new age artists like Steve Roach find their way into the mix. All these elements converge to create Gillsaw's unique and captivating sound.
